CMM Quarterly started as a desire to share knowledge amongst fellow CMM  / Vision programmers and operators. The goal here is provide a place where knowledge can be gained and shared in an informative fashion. Each article has been written by people out in the field and not by some marketing department. I’ve been put off by magazines that have become marketing tools instead of places of real helpful information. While some of the press releases are informative, and should be shared, they rarely have substance to help a struggling programmer get the information he needs. I have, and will, include some of these press releases that are interesting or introduce a new product. In no way is the inclusion of any press release an endorsement of the product. I will always strive to have articles that will advance the knowledge of CMM / Vision programmers.
